Shocks are back on, took the yota for a spin around the block and its pretty night n day. Think my ifp seals mihht have been leaking or blown cause the ride is way smoother! Cant wait to get em in the dirt to really see how the valving is.

The shocks were super stiff before and a lot softer now, wich leads me to believe the ifp seal could have leaked nitrogen into the oil. I don't know how many miles you have on yours, but maybe they need a rebuild. I talked you into 700# coils though lol so take everything I do with a grain of salt cause I am kinda throwing darts n hoping they stick.

They have about 10k on them?! They look pretty good. Could maybe use a rebuild but I think they are fine. I’m just going let you figure it out, so I can follow in your footsteps! I’m jealous you know someone that can help. I will have to bring mine to a shop.

Its really not too difficult, it will just be messy. There is a write up on our shocks that are pretty easy. The coils and charging will be the only thing you’ll have to seak out.

So just an update. Super glad I put the extended travel spacers in, and the extra shims on the rebound has fixed my rebound issues. I am gonna have to open them back up and take down some of the compression and make it softer, that or allow more bleed. That will be the next project. In the meantime I replaced my zerk on the drive shaft and a washer that got squashed on my lower driverside shock mount, as well as bent back my e bake cable bracket. The trail was fun though...

Love that build man! good job on everything. I want almost that same type of build. Can you tell me where you purchased the front and back bumpers?

Front is a allpro, it holds up to the hard hits, but I would prefer a different one, rear is a cbi and I love it. It has come in handy in more ways then one. Thx for the compliments man. Theres some stuff I am still trying to fine tune, and some changes I want to make, but everything works well enough.

So the coilovers are feeling good?! Both on and off road?

The rebound is great on and off road. I added compression just to see what that did, and it clearly will not stay the way it is. Im gonna bring it back to stock compression and see how that feels. If I need it a little softer Im gonna add some bleed and see what happens. Adding bleed on our pistons is as simple as removing a allen screw

Photo dump of last weekend. Some fun little obstacles, but also found a tougher trail to play on next time.

Rear def looks good. May I’ve to check it out.

How are you liking the Harrop? I just swapped 4.56 and Harrop up front. Haven’t finished some other stuff so have not had a chance to test it out yet.

Thanks man. The bumper has saved my truck in many ways. I like the harrop a lot. I only use it when I absolutely have to. You shouldnt turn with the front locker locked or you’ll bind up the gears and snap a cv or worse. But it has gotten me unstuck and allowed me to climb up shit with one wheel in the air haha
