The Baofeng for regular repeaters is no issue at all. They make a new DMR one that fucks things up.

That's what we do up here. There are places to rock crawling and wheel. But mostly it's roads that take you to the middle of no where that are unmaintained and see maybe 50 people every 10 years

Yup. My wallet isn't deep enough for that . I spent big up front to have a travel truck, and hopefully I'll just have to rebuild the shocks at 50k and do tires occasionally. No breaking parts if i can help it
