I plan to use a small bit of the TJ money for Taco stuff. I just don't know how long it's gonna take. We're gonna have to go to court over it

There should be no question. 12K estimate. They valued it at $8527. I accepted. They picked up the Jeep and got a $2336 bill from the shop and said they would only pay $747.50 and would take the rest out of my settlement(leaving me roughly $6900). I told them to "Kiss my ass".
They sent a check for $747.50(shop) and $5802.55(me). I don't know who the hell runs there finance dept, but that is far from the money they were even willing to pay(I won't accept anything less than my $8527). If they don't want to pay the shop, that has nothing to do with me.

So they have my TJ and I nor the shop has any money.

It's shit that they treat people that way. I'm not in a position that I absolutely have to have the money. I damn sure want it though. This has been going on since 3/28. I would have been screwed if that was my only means of transport and couldn't buy another vehicle.

I'm lucky that I had been wanting a Tacoma and had the means to get one.

I can already turn my headlights/foglights on independently of each other.. Maybe the last guy did something similar? Either way, I have a button attached to my steering column with a command strip for my foglights. I need to rewire that over to the left of the wheel..

 

I have no clue. I just remember reading that thread and figured it wouldn't hurt

 

I guess I'll have to get over my distaste of doing electrical on autos and figure out what's going on
