Since you already have the u bolts you might only need the plate and rear bumpstop from toyotabumpstops. Give @Plastics Guy a heads up and see what you guys can come up with for your needs.

@jardoo Shoot me a PM buddy and I'll get you going. I have a really nice 3/8" steel U-bolt flip plate that is Powder coated Black as well as in raw steel. I'll be starting my first pre-order run for Tacoma Rear Bump Stops this weekend and that batch will be shipping out Oct. 22

I have a few sets of my first beta sets that I made. They are identical to the production version, just made much slower. lol

Good looking out @DukesTaco for spreading the word!!!

Exuse my ignorance but what is the purpose of flipping the ubolts and mounting the bump to the axle?

this information is clearly listed on my website. It's as simple as choosing the the year vehicle you own and all my products for that vehicle will come up with a description.

It's not a derail in the least. Flip kits simply replace your square shaped U-bolts that are on your truck now. The square U-bolt threads face downward toward the dirt. They have potential to get hung up on a rock.
With U-bolt flip kit you receive 4 new U shaped U-bolts and a flip plate. This allows for the threads of the Ubolts fo face upward. It clears up under axle clearance.

It's simply flipping the orientation of your Stock U-bolts and flipping them to face upward.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with mounting the bumps like you did.
The people who say it has to be mounted on top of the leafs don’t know what they are taking about.
