Damn South Carolina governor really screwed the pooch with mandatory evacuations on Tuesday. :censored: Here it is on Thursday morning and we still have no rain or wind in Charleston. Dumb ass public officials.

I too have had great success with the Honda 2kw inverter. Your setup looks great. I just have a single unit. Its greatest assets: extremely dependable, and it sips gasoline. One of my buddies used to love to comment that he bought twice the power output for half the money. Which is true. But, it did him little good when it won’t run during a power outage because there was a family of mice living in his generator. He had more respect for my little Honda after I lent it to him (I had street power and he didn’t). Open frame generators are more prone to rodent damage than a closed unit like the Honda 2kw.
Please, everyone stay safe during the storm and while recovering from its damage.

I'm more worried about him sitting right under the power line connection. Looks like he could touch the power lines.

Avon, Buxton, Frisco and right before Hatteras Village already have major breaches in the dunes, parts are impassable. I'm predicting a new inlet between Hatteras and Frisco. I will upload pictures as I get them.

They use 3 Tab roofs in hurricane area's? Most we ever get are 60mph gusts about every 4-5 years and those roofs are always gone.
