I have a switch pro. So wiring is pretty easy.

Ran the wires down a small conduit along the side of the windshield (with wires for my scene lights) into the engine bay where my switch pro lives.
Wires from the s2s run through more conduit and zip tied to the crossbars right up against the side plates of the prinsu so they are hidden.

I ran into the same issue with mine. I stacked some extra washers I had until it sat right on the shell. There are possibly better ways to solve this but this was quick and easy. Everything is firm and i've put tons of stuff on the rack and haven't had any issues. I did have to get 1" bolts from home depot so I had enough room to stack the washers.

I may have to go that route if I can't figure it by tomorrow, I want to use it this weekend. I'm working on a way to shim the gap between the cap and the Prinsu feet so the bolt tightens flat and the outside edge is supported. Hopefully it'll come together.

Do you have the Cabrac too? I was wondering about the height differance between them? I have a Cabrac, just haven't installed it yet.

Are you using different mounting hardware? Seems like the stainless steel spacers it comes with would mark up the roof from off-roading and or vibration. I remember seeing someone that recommended using some nylon or rubber spacers instead but I can’t seem to find that post or link to buy those instead. :help:

I do have the cab rack. They sit pretty level to each other. I mostly use it for kayaks and put one rack mount on the front section and one on the back and it works great.image2.jpg image3.jpg

That looks good. It probably depends on the brand and model of cap, but hoping for the best.

If you haven't gotten one shipped to you, I just contacted Rogue Off-Road and they are shipping one to me here in Guam ($160 shipping via USPS Priority Mail)

Looks similar to my setup when I goto the Gulf Coast for shore fishing. My Prinsu CabRac has paid for itself already in the amount of use I've gotten out of it.

Oh ok! Ya used the rubber washers as a sandwich for inside and bottom of case?
