Well a few years for the court system... Another week and most will forget (other than those personally fucked).

Didn't hear the name thing. Maybe CNBC can be contacted, they can do a documentary for "American Greed"

No official word yet. Typically the hosting power company is the one who makes the call as to who they want to come and based on past experience Duke energy doesn’t call Xcel for help. No biggie. There’s other hurricanes a brewin.

I'm puttin this here since most don't look at the threads in the main CO page.

I am semi new to the area and getting back into climbing after taking 5 months off due to an injury. However, I currently have nobody to climb with so I am stuck bouldering. Anyone interested in doing a bit of climbing? I came from Florida so most of my experience is indoors, but I am wanting to get outside some too. I have a membership at the new EarthTreks in Englewood, can lead, have a rope and draws, and typically climb in the 5.9-5.10 range. I run a small recruiting business from home, so I am pretty much free to climb whenever.

Based on the amount of built tacos/4runners at the gym I know some of you climb.

I remember getting double blasted by Hurricanes Dennis and Floyd when I was stationed at Langley. By the time they got to Virginia, it was still windy enough to cause problems, but it was the flooding from surge and rain that was the big problem there. I had a blast driving around my '69 Bronco, though.

So far so good, tonight will start the rain, tomorrow will bring the high winds, flash floods and potential tornadoes. The rain is looking like it won't stop for us for 4 to 5 days. We are in an area looking at 6-15" of rain per day depending on where it actually ends up going... should of bought a boat...

For those needing visual aids this site is sure purdy

    Good luck!!

You guys just need to have a mini retirement. Life is great, I do whatever I and the wife want(or what the 1 year old wants)

Yeah but you still have to raise a kid, maybe more. That part of my life is over with and I'm glad! Not expecting grand kids either.

Only way to do it... Saving up and waiting for that big retirement later is so last decade.
