I think I'll be able to see out of the operative eye tomorrow. But if I wear my glasses that one will be over-corrected, and if I don't my other one is uncorrected until Tuesday next week. In any event, let me know which way works better for you. I'm home from the surgery, but can't see out of the new one yet (pupil is still the size of Montana), and can't wear my glasses cause I have to wear these obnoxious sunglasses.

 

Funny you should mention spark plugs. Had my truck in for it's 60K service, and they told me that Toyota recommends changing the plugs every 30K. (Yet they didn't mention it at 30K). I have a 75K extended plan, so I pointed that out and he said that plan would bring the cost down from $830 to $650! For 6 damn spark plugs!?!?!?!?!?

I declined new plugs. Sheesh.

 

They wanted to charge you that much?!?! I got the plugs for like $30 on Amazon and did it in an hour and a half.

 

I'll change your spark plugs for $600

 

Yea and Ill do @TheDad brakes for 1/2 of what the dealer charges.. $850. And Ill buy his parts

 

How they can quote those prices with a straight face is beyond me. The sad thing is, I'm sure folks pay it all the time. That right there is downright criminal.

 

Haha. I helped him put a sound system in his Subaru a few weeks back. He offered to pay me but i refused so i guess he decided to send this instead.

Yeah, I think I would as well...I think the intent of that code does not really cover the "elevated structure" you are parked on. What a tool.

That's a good point. Obviously it isn't a bridge and the structure you parked on is firmly planted on the ground, not elevated. Your truck IS elevated.
