The plugs on the cab floor aren't sealed, just pressed in and will allow water in if submerged or sufficient water pressure exists. Plan on pulling the seats and carpet to dry them out immediately or you'll get mold. Better still, just yank the carpet before a storm hits and just use husky or weathertechs, or, seal every plug and reinstall the carpet. Big difference between clear running stream water from a short crossing and extended exposure to contaminated flood waters.

My truck is a pavement princess, I'm not going to drive mine through anything unless its a absolute emergency. I'm at a minimal threat level now with the hurricane turned. I would rather (and probably will) go play in some flooded creeks on my 4 wheeler though

Also remember, Depending on your location, I could be saltwater which can cause havoc later down the road after it corrodes away your metal and wires.

I think she'll be alright in KDH. There's a few flood prone areas, but if she's not on a canal or ocean front I bet she'll be just fine.

I'm all the way out here in southern Kentucky, and the forecast maps show that we might pick up a couple of inches of rain from Flo. I'd sure as heck hate to be right on the coast for THIS hosing...

Years ago had to ride out a storm like this on an Oil Tanker off of Cape Hatteras. We were hove to, doing fine, until we started taking green water down the stack! Then the Captain decided it was time to get out of there before we lost the engines!
