    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
I'll second his recommendation on the SPCs (I have them with no issues)

And I'll second getting them from @HeadStrong Off-Road (that's where I got mine.. Great people)

Got the sliders welded on. Also changed out my 881 to 883 springs. I might be selling my 881 and Toytec 1/2” spacer w/extended bolts soon. Spacers are brand new and 881 has less than 500 miles on them.

With the new 883 it raised the front up to 1” so now I only have 1” of rake in the rear. Had my gf sit on my front bumper and it only brought it down no more than 1/2” so I know when I have a winch on there it will probably only go down 1/4” or less. From ground to bottom fender 37” front and 38” rear. Still have about 1/2” of lean on driver side. I did take it for a drive around town and maybe I need to drive it more but it actually feels the same or better compare to the 881.

I saw your truck parked out front while I was gassing up. I went inside to pay and when I came out you were pulling out. I would have said hi if I saw you. Next time!

Lodi Lake. The lake itself is pretty small but it connects to the Mokelumne river so lots of winding calm river to paddle down.

Hey guys, I've read tons of suspension lift threads in the past 6 months and have narrowed down to a few different options. I'd like to buy and be done with it for 100k miles if possible. I've been between a spacer lift :crapstorm: 5100/OME 888 lift and a full OME kit for my truck (not sure if medium or heavy but I don't tow anything and only have a softopper as of now). Not doing any rock crawling or anything too risky off road cause its my daily. I assume I will be directed toward the full OME kit but would like some feedback from you all if you have experience with any of these options. Also, it sounds like the full OME kit will work with the stock UCA's which sounds like a huge plus. I'm asking this group because you have more experience with trails in this region and I'd obviously like to do some trails with you all at some point! thanks for your input!

Well, im currently on a spacer and AAL setup, my truck sits nearly level (with my camper shell on) and ive got abbbbout 1.5-2" of lift?

It was on the truck when i bought it :anonymous:

Ive never driven anyone elses lifted truck so i have nothing to compare it too.

I dont plan to wheel as hard as some of these guys i think. But i do plan to go anywhere/everywhere i can (even if i need to pick the easy lines to do it)

Full OME kit is my cost effective solution. Using nitrocharger shocks. When those wear out maybe ill consider relocations/brake line extensions/extended travel.

I figure for $1700 the full kit is reasonably priced.

I went with the full OME kit for this reason. I read a lot of people had good experiences from it on the trails. Haven’t put many miles on it so I can’t comment too much on it. I did upgrade the UCA to SPC UCA as well. The full OME kit from Wheelers comes with everything you need to make the install straight forward so I suggest you get it from them.

If your bed is empty, you have a few spare strong backs and power tools; lifting the bed is easiest. Otherwise, drop it like it’s hot.

It took me about 50 minutes to drop my tank. But, I have tools and experience. Probably would have been faster if I wasn’t trying to figure out mounting brackets for the LRA tank at the same time.

    OME Kit
I had it before I switched to a fox setup. It worked fine for everything that I wanted to do. Now 100k miles not sure if that will happen since the shocks will wear just like any other shocks but you might be able to get 100k miles, maybe. These will have to be replaced where a coilover can be rebuilt.

If you don't mind me asking why did you make the switch to Fox? How many miles would you expect to get out of the OME shocks? Obviously it depends on how you drive your truck but they should last just as long if not longer than the stock billy's right?

I think like you said it all depends on how you drive the truck and how hard they are working.

    I switched to Fox because
    • Great deal - front and rear for $400
    • rebuildable
    • tuning

Let me see how successful (or unsuccessful) and frustrating (or unfrustrating) my weekend hunt goes, this weekend.

I may ride shotgun with Josh or John if I decide not to hunt on the 22nd.
