Do you know if these guys are any good with a Haltech? Curious how much they would charge me

Not too sure. Give them a call! I was going to have them work on my hot side but ended up not due to things coming up. They answered all my questions I had.

Scrolling through fleaBay today I came across a reman Garrett t3/t4. It lists both the turbine and compressor a/r and threw me off a little.

It has a .58 turbine and .50 compressor. Most all compressors seem to be a .50 a/r so this would be a middle of the low boost - high boost?

The ebay turbos are worded very confusing. Also when you take them apart the wheel sizes can be different than stated.
You want to look at inducer and exducer sizes of the wheels and the AR of the turbine. The rest of the numbers they throw at you are mostly garbage. They throw numbers at you and hope someone buys it.
Mine is completely different that what was stated. I pretty much have a gt3076

I agree. Chinese descriptions are far away from what they mean many times. This vendor offers remand and new as well as used. All were branded but appeared to be China imports. I messaged them about a few other turbos that didn’t list any specific numbers and they were unusually quick to reply with an answer. So I questioned the reman process and they were adamant that it’s all branded replacement parts as per OEM brand.

Anyone have any issues with heat when rock crawling, really slow speed stuff. About to get started on my turbo build in about a month or so.

Yeah that doesn’t tell you anything. This is my eBay turbo. If you enter the world of Chinese turbos, you want one that gives you all the info. It’s still a gamble even with the info.

I’ll heat soak a bit going slow and sitting at idle. My maf is post turbo. Kinda feels like the motor loads up. I just bypassed my air sensor over the weekend. Still have testing to do.

LOL. What did you end up with in the end as for each a/r?

Should be scalable in the haltech. Just need the calibration values

Guys who have done the balance shaft delete on 3RZ have said the oil pressure raises quite a bit, I'm to assume the same on the 2TR.
The Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve, which controls the VVTI, meters this oil to advance/retard the timing. Will deleting this affect the VVTI?

    edit:
Once Haltech VVTI is developed I believe there will have to be a calibration for those with/without the delete.

The VVT-I already works. You can tune it.
