I agree, I have a 2018 and they don't work very good on curvy roads and the road sign issue is really annoying. It's definitely not a set it and forget it thing.

That's the problem. He kept expecting people to give him things, instead of buying or making it himself.

So dealer number 2 also said they are no longer doing suspension lifts either due to corporate telling them not to.....my buddy is a finance guy here so they may do it for me and sign a waiver regarding the Toyota sense portion I should hear back today.....otherwise it sounds like I am doing a PRO

My local Toyota dealership does lifts and they have several new Tacoma's on their lot that have 6" lifts. What's their excuse? Doubt their looking to void any warranties before the trucks even leave the lot. I'd go find another dealership if I were you. One that embraces what it is to be a Tacoma owner. you could always do what I did and turn all that TSS crap off. I even disconnected the lane assist and the blind spot monitors which I found to be annoying anyway.

I don't plan on using the TSS....It sounds like they are going to do it but want me to sign a waiver that I cannot sue dealer if the system doesn't work or Toyota regarding it...Fine. He is waiting for the GM to get out of meeting and then I will know for sure.

Why not buy the truck and install the lift yourself? Or have an independent shop do the install. Don’t sign anything just to get the truck lifted, there are other ways to get it done.

I never like to finance accessories through a car loan, but to each their own.

I just got my 2019 Tacoma out of the shop lifted 2 inches today. They told me the same thing, nothing is wrong.....knock on wood. Sensors work and everything.

    Working on them
Wade Toyota of St. George Utah Sells 2018 and 2019 with lift installed and yes the price is higher and I certainly do not think they would sell the lift if they did not make money.
