    Why, because you say so. I currently have red tinted film over the stock lights now and do not have any issues.

    This is just one state, but I’m sure it’s pretty uniform:
    Louisiana RS 32:327 — Special restrictions on lamps
    B. No person shall drive or move any vehicular equipment upon any highway of this state with any lamp or device thereon displaying a red or green light visible from directly in front of the center thereof.

    Yea, now lets really dumb that down to the point that it is just plain stupid. I think this is why Domino's (and others like them) isn't allowed to have lit signs on the roofs of vehicles any more.

    Motorcycles here used to catch a lot of scrutiny and ultimately fines from police for LED effect lighting but over the years I think the police have decided other crimes are more important.

    Oh, I am a 100% supporter of Law Enforcement and have family members on the force.

    btw mine was a easy install. Tight? Yes, but reassuring. My only hangup was when the lower black OEM peice fell off on one side before I saw how it sits. Overall very simple.

    Illinois 625 ILCS 5/ Illinois Vehicle Code. Article II
    Lights And Lamps
    Sec. 12‑212. Special restrictions on lamps. (a) No person shall drive or move any vehicle or equipment upon any highway with any lamp or device on the vehicle or equipment displaying a red light visible from directly in front of the vehicle or equipment except as otherwise provided in this Act.

    Dude...its state law in most if not all states. LEOs may not give you a hard time until you happen to drive by an emergency scene and they see you...then have fun paying a nice fine.

    Even if you put that aside, the point is to be seen and amber is the best color for that. Hence why I'm itchin for Meso's next sale on Sep 21st!

    Hey Meso ....what gives??
    I have ordered several items from you in the past. I live in Vancouver Canada. I am pretty sure I paid a small shipping fee and that is it period. Why am I being hit with a $26 duty fee to pick my lights up this time?? With the exchange from my dollar plus shipping plus duty ...it is a bit much.
    Silver lining ...they came fast as f__k.

    I am not sure why there is a duty now?? The only difference is I am now using the shipping program built into my Shopify website. It auto calculates everything and creates a label. The only thing I can think of if the fee was been based upon the MSRP price on the customs label? If so, I can try an “alter” it for future shipments to Canada. Sorry!
