Just picked up a 2019 Sport. Looking for a bed cover. Didn't like the OEM on my 2016. Considering a Bakflip MX4. Any other options out there that I might consider?

    I have a BakFlip G2. I love it! It's a little cheaper than the MX4 I think.

I have a truxedo truxport roll up. Couldn’t be happier. I don’t have any pictures but can take some if you’d like.

I think you're the first delivery of a 2019 that I've heard of. Congrats and welcome.

I have the Extang 2.0 trifold. Works great & looks great. Much better than the OEM cover!

My next choice would be the Backflip G2

purdy truck. cement looks good with all the color matching IMO.

i have the Extang Encore 2.0. i like it because you can fold up the front or rear panels and fold them both flat while it stays mounted. won't block the rear glass. locks using your ignition key. removable in about 30-60 secs. well made, hard and sturdy on top. and looks good. the only real downside is it requires relocating the bed side rails using their kit, which moves the rails down about 1.5" or so.

Congratulations on the 2019 and yes, it’s the first 2019 delivery that I’ve heard of as well. Welcome to TW and join us in the 3rd Gen Sport thread.

Installed the Extang Solid 2.0 this morning on my one week old '18 Pro. I like the flushmount covers a bit better and almost went with the MX4 but I take music cabinets to gigs and they dont fit in the flushmount tops. The Solid 2.0 sits on top of the bed and gives me the three extra inches I need to haul my gear. It makes it look tougher in my opinion NOT being flush also. I dig it. Its sturdy but not as secure as all these manufacturers would have you believe. I think I could bend it up with a small prybar if I wanted to get in there.20180913_175227.jpg

I recently put on a BAKFLIP MX4 on my 2018. I like it so far. Seems like a good cover.

they are pricey... but it is an invaluable part of my truck. Truck Covers USA tonneau. powder coated aluminum, retractable with a solid spring mechanism, lockable, and keeps the bed completely dry. Plus is you can order with yakima tracks prewelded and put a solid rack system on there so you can load up above the bed and keep the bed lockable, dry for storage.

Leer is coming out with a new trifold to take over their trilogy series later this month. I tried to purchase the trilogy late August but no one had them in stock. I called the Eastern headquarters for them and the lady on the phone said they stopped manufacturing the trilogy bc of the new one "coming out soon". I asked her when she was told they would be released she said by the end of September. She said it's going to be an upgraded version of the trilogy with a new name. It'll affix the same way no drilling, or anything just goes right on the factory rails. So I'm waiting on that to come out. I hear good things from them.
