Is that intended to be a set-screw? I accomplished the same (eliminating play/rattle) by adding a screw in one of the free threaded holes in the back.

Jim, The BX series is a real workhorse with a three cylinder diesel, these machines last forever. However, just like all other tractors they are pretty pricey. I'm already thinking of a box rake, they have a slippery slope just like our Tacos.
Here's the Kubota forum that I frequent and it's a wealth of information. http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=6

Durability and appearance...plastidip doesn't hold up in my experience, and I prefer the smooth satin look versus flat. I've plastidipped before and have never been happy with it...

Sometimes the result is directly related to the number of applications.

I prefer the satin as well. I derped my hood scoop and the slightly wrinkled look is ok for that, but I am saving up for the SR bezel.

I debated the Pro grill for a long time. I have a 2018 and I just can’t get over how ugly that TSS sensor fascia is on the Pro grills. Seriously, Toyota could’ve came up with a better looking solution than that.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Went in for TSB 0058-18 and final oil change at end of 2yr which ends on Friday. Got there and explained to service writer what I wanted done for service. He said oil change is no problem but would need truck for awhile to test to see if TSB is needed. I told him that I already made arrangements through Dan L who is service
Manager. He went to talk with Dan and came back saying truck would be ready in an hour.
Drive home was 68 miles city and mountain. Mostly flat and uphill driving. I definitely shifts better in city holding lower gears instead of going into 5th at 35mph. It does seem to be a little quick from 3 to 4th under light city driving. Ok getting up to speed on Hwy. Hwy it holds gears much better. Pedal response is much better. Give a little push on gas you go a little faster instead of having to really push on accelerator. Going up the mountain I didn't need to set ECT. Shifted and Dow shifted when it should and held gears great. Still a little slow shifting after creating hill but much much better. Will have to see if it learns or not. For the 60mi drive up the mountain gas mileage was about the same. 17.5. Going down the mountain is usually about 21 so we'll see what happens. For now it's great but we'll have to wait and see.

You'd think they could've built the sensor into the lettering instead of where they put it on the Pro grille...so tacky. I'm one of the few that actually likes the '18 OR/Sport grilles, and they're much better with the SR surrounds.

It was pretty shaken up but I put it right back to work and after a short while it was fine.
It even did some nocturnal cutting for me before turning in for the night - need to install LEDs in place of the anemic incandescent bulbs though.
