    Alright here is the deal...

As many of you know I was asking a couple weeks ago about FJ stuff , for the wife's truck.. and eventually got the Intel about FJ cruiser Forums (FJCF) :amen:I sign up there and started reading about different Lifts, Tires etc.. and got in touch with Doug from Toy Tec, got the lift ordered, it arrived at the house.

Well as you all know I am deployed right now :plane:, so I Posted on the regional area for Texas, on FJCF, asking for suggestions on where I could get the lift installed by people that know what they are doing, and at a reasonable price. :help:

I had a guy email me (Worked on motorcycles all his life and done various installs on FJs including 6 lift kits helping friends out) and offer to install the kit for Free. When I told him that wasn't what I was looking for, he insisted and said " He refuses to accept the money of a deployed service member" :bananadance:

So next week my dad and my wife are driving out to have this kit installed.

I get back in Late Dec/ Early Jan, and plan to make a trip to Texas end of Jan/ early Feb, and I will taking a drive out to thank him personally, I am just trying to think of something I can give him, that he wouldn't be able to just get anywhere, to show him I am truly thankful,:humble: for his generosity

I think that would be a cool gift. He sounds like a respectful guy who would appreciate something like that. All the local businesses here that support family readiness always have plaques, photos, etc. from units displaying.

I did this for a couple of family members and friends. I personally think they thought that was the best thing that I could have done for them. You should go that route and take a case of beer just b/c and have a good time.
