I still need to do it...bought mine like a year ago and it's just been sitting in my desk. I don't think my original is all that bad right now but I should do it anyway.

I'm betting mine's in not-so-great shape but I can still find the gears easy with the shifter. It's the movement/slop that concerns me though

My problem came on sudden, like good one minute, horrible the next. Could barely get into 3rd and 4th, then started popping out 20 miles later. I had to go OEM with the part as I had to have the truck fixed to even drive it.

Not sure if anyone fully answered your question, but here is were I tapped on my fuse block, with an add a circuit, under the hood, for the power to actuate my dual battery relay (and a bunch of other relays for lights, etc. It is the fifth one up on the left side, and I believe it is for the air conditioning. It only has power when the ignition is in the on position, not accessory, which is perfect for separating the two batteries.

Thank you! That answers my question.

@foxrcing07 ... this is where I'll tap for my relay/isolator.

    Maybe.

Also, the clutch on this truck is probably non existent with all the excellent shifting I’ve been doing.

450k mile beater truck, no seats, blown out shifter bushing (most likely)....you aren't starting with the best platform to learn on lol.

Don’t forget the broken gas gauge.

I’ve ran out of gas more times than I’d like to say.

You can always count the mileage and factor the MPG.

    That will help right?

I think he wastes more gas idling and starting the truck up after stalling it than he does actually driving...be kind of hard to gauge how much fuel is being used that way lol
