What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got the same truck a month ago and have done a few of those myself. If you tackle a Pioneer CarPlay unit install, a writeup/review would be fantastic. I'm eyeballing the 4400NEX.

Thanks! Thats one thing I dont do is install headunits. I had the 4200NEX in my Jeep Wrangler and loved it. These stock headunits are such trash I hate it. Now Im looking at the 2400 because its supposed to be the same thing as the 4400 but no CD/DVD player (they call it non mechanical) and its several hundred dollars cheaper. I got so used to Android Auto and my GF Apple Carplay that its like regressing into the past with this headunit, and the sound quality is horrendous. "Premium" Entune?? Get the heck out of here...

 

added Custom Map and dome lights from @mesojdm these are crazy bright.

 

The funny thing is, after several months of use, every other car you ride in you just want to ask "dude what the hell is wrong with your dim dome light". And don't worry. The burn goes away after a few days of use.

 

Is this still considered mall crawling even though it's on gravel?

 

Might as well add to the bunch. Just installed Meso Customs Ultimate LED Turn Signals V4. Crazy bright than stock.

The only thing that would make them cooler would be if they read:

“live free or die...bitch!”

 

Added a Meso dome light today too. Makes the stock one seem like it was as dim as a candle.

 

Installed a TRD Pro skid plate

Added the “4X4” emblem to the tailgate. I know the limited version comes with it but not sure which other year(s)/model(s) come with them?

Does anybody know if you can fit a 285/70/17 in the spare tire spot?

 

Any non-TRD 4x4 comes with it.

 

If you don't mind me asking, what do the letters in your license plate stand for?
