I don't get why you're being so negative. I already explained that I never complained to a dealer. I responded to a survey that Toyota sent out to owners. That was it. Hell, I didn't even fill out any extra comments in the survey. The only person here crying is you. If you hate your truck that much, get rid of the damn thing. I personally love my truck and I'm willing to at least provide them the feedback they asked for. If you can't be productive, go be a seagull and fly into someone else's post, shit all over it, and fly away. You're not needed here

Just because vehicles have multiple gears does not mean they are necessarily going to drive bad, I was reading about the 10 speeds and it says in "most" circumstances they shift less than the 6 speeds they replaced.

Thanks for reaching out to others for suggestions OP. My only issues are related to hills (pulsing when braking to a stop downhill, doesn't happen in neutral, and over sensitive cruise control Wanting to downshift too eagerly) which it seems you can't replicate there.

Rumble strip is your driver CV needle bearing guaranteed...I had it too. ECGS clamshell
    bushing fixes that forever.

My truck does the rumblestrip thing from 30 to 10mph , truck is 3 months old with 500 miles on it , could it really be bad right from the factory ? . I would happily do the upgrade if it’ll fix it , I love the truck otherwise, although I would prefer for Toyota to have a solution for this if possible

Yes. From what I gather Toyota has been using the same shitty needle bearing since the gen 2s. ECGS is the only permanent solution.

It’s just a common design flaw with these trucks from 2015 up. Have them perform the tsb for a needle bearing replacement but give them the ECGS part to put in instead

Funny, and did not mean to bug you. Used the name since high school and just never bothered using anything that different due to lack of creativity. The 0 helps ensure its not taken cause it usually is. Any way if that bugs you, you should be able to find a plethora of things wrong with the truck to pass on to the engineers.

My local dealership did the 0062-18 tsb at my request and it helped the shifting quite a bit , but the rumble strip vibration during decel tsb only applies to the 16 and 17 model years , told me ... they all do it . If they include the 18s , we will apply it to your truck . Still no luck with them adding 18 model years

Even if no TSB should it not still be repaired under warranty?

Yes , but they claim there is no fix for it , it’s something all the sr5s built in spring of 18 seem to be doing to mixed degree . It’s worse some days than others , seems to be worse when it’s hot out and the truck is up to full operating temp

Hopefully OP can possibly get a few answers from the engineer about our trans/driveline issues , thanks for all the input guys , as always the feedback is helpful . Let’s hope our friends in the Carolinas don’t get beat up to bad from this hurricane .

Still get the ECGS bushing, the vibe is one of the most annoying things
