Oh man, you at least need Lt’d truck, front and rear lockers and a set of tracks to drive in snow.

Big cats? I hate it. Southeastern snow is so wet and heavy. Not the fluffy stuff. Ours freezes over to a sheet of ice each night.

Nut up and drive to the snow this weekend regardless, it's worth it. But don't try to wheel in it in your truck lol

Should i buy chains before i goto tahoe? I seen those signs everywhere in tahoe saying “chains required when lights on”

Tahoe gets tons of snow in the winter usually, traffic can be a nightmare out that way because of it. Definitely go in a 4x4 to avoid having to use chains and then you can LOL at all the people that thought their Corollas and 2wd full-size pickups could handle the snow

Even chains in 2wd won't work that well. Okay for gettting around on snowy roads but not for actually wheeling around in snow. 10 psi in your tires will help a shit load though

If you're in a 2WD then most definitely yes. They won't let you past the check point without them, they check to make sure you either have chains or have 4x4
