I had concerns the rear of this skidplate was lacking. And it was a really well functioning dirt scoop. Should be more solid and slide instead of scoop now.

Went wheeling today and further bent my passenger side slider on this big ledge. Haha I should’ve made them with .250 wall. Probably end up cutting them off and making them different later on. We’ll see.

    Here’s some pics

Found the switch I had in my other Tacoma! Yay! I just need a new cover for my compressor switch, and maybe a new cover for the fan switch too so that all match.

Finally got my hi lift mounted, made my mudflaps into quick release jobbies instead of bolting them, and got my broken antenna sort of better.

    Yes this is better.

I need to make a sweet tool for pressing the front wheel bearings out on these trucks. Hammering them out is shitass.

Made this little abortion to try and press wheel bearings out. Don’t know if it’ll work. Need a couple more little pieces of U channel on the top as well. Haha I guess we’ll see if it holds.

The front case popping out of gear under no-load or a coasting load is super common with any gear set in the front box. There’s a bunch of threads on Pirate detailing it with Marlin gears, TG gears and stock gears. I think it’s not unusual to occur on stock chain drive cases either. Mine did it too until I realized that the shifter was kissing the body. I clearanced the floor more and it fixed 95% of the problem and I’m expecting the new HD detent spring I just installed to fix the last 5% of the time it happens.
