    Yeah I saw the pics of the progress on mine. It looks amazing. I'm glad I went with the 45° bends instead of the 90°s. I'm good that time frame. Oct 1 shipping date would be perfect for me honestly. Thanks again Roostfactor!

    @Roostfactor ......what would it take to fab up a radiator support in stainless to help show off the CSF radiators we have along with all the other bling we have under the hood? If you do consider to take this on. Please allow me to be 1st in line sir. :hattip:
    ...Replace this black nasty thing in stainless...

    Hmmm, havent thought of that one!? It would be much easier in aluminum and most people could do it with Tim and patience.
    Stainless is a whole other beast! You cant drill too slow or you work harder or too fast and overheat the bit.
    Regardless my opinion would be aluminum which is what I would do if I was that offended by my ugly but functional plastic piece.

    Great idea though!!!

    Dude, seriously?! Who just goes out and buys some tools and a software program and turns out a piece of art like this? Please tell me you had tons of welding experience before this and you worked with exhausts in the past. I thought I was cool when I HELPED install my suspension on my 3rd Gen......not so much now. Very ice work sir!

    Can I get away with aluminum and not have it rust due to harsh ass winters? I can always coat it with something if so. That being said, I’d be willing to have it in aluminum if that’s the only option.....think about it when you have some time......:thumbsup:

    Trust me, the first piece which I now call the prototype (on @White lightning boosted's) truck now looks nothing like what you see in recent photos.

    I have been in jet engine propulsion for 24 years and havent always been satisfied with what the mainstream has offered for exhausts.
    Our engine is particularly primed for an equal length y-pipe unlike a v8 which benefits from an H or X pipe because our exhaust pulses are equal and alternating from each bank. Why not capitalize on this?!
    So, @loginfailed was thinking about installing a super restrictive muffler because he wanted quiet exhaust. I said NO! Bring it up and we will fix the problem.
    That is where the first revision came from and you can ask him what he thinks of the difference.
    I am not a newb, I have been a mechanic forever and am a total nerd when it comes to learning my interests.
    So yes, I am THAT guy who bought a welder and software because I wasnt satisfied with the current offering. It turns out I am not alone, because others understand the benefits but dont want to commit to going through the learning curve as I did.

    Aluminum doesnt rust but it does corrode. Only ferrous materials rust. With that in mind I can understand why you would want stainless because aluminum and salt dont get along well.
