Amazon, $89 I watched the price until they dropped below $90. I kick myself for not swapping them out of the truck I turned in just months ago. I listen to a LOT of music so I could justify a small amount of money for such a big improvement.

I usually do sound first thing in all my vehicles, then springs/shocks for a better ride. I’m leaving the suspension and the rest of the audio alone until I decide if I’m gonna buy this at lease end or if my little monsters outgrow the double cab; which they are on the fast-track to do.

90% of that stuff is picking the right line. There's stuff that I've done that looks rough but could be done in a sedan as long as you pick the right line. Although I'll admit I've drug the undercarriage a few times.

@m603holden I'm having issues here deciding on a mobile. I have wanted a D710g forever and now that I'm looking at it I'm kinda thinking it may be old technology. Looking like it came out in 2013 and doesn't have any digital modes on board. But it does seem to have easier access to buttons on the face without having to go into the menu for stuff. I got to looking into the FTM-400 and watching a review on youtube, it seems like it's kinda slow with it's touch screen for todays technology. Also unless I'm reading it wrong does the D710 have to be hooked to a computer to do Echolink? Will the V71a do Echolink by itself? I'm so damn confused.


Oh I did find out the Yaesu VX-8dr sold new for $480. So why the hell is it $600 used now?
