Hey @dirtydeeds or @KTJO 4x4, are you planning on a bolt-on exhaust reroute that can be used in the OEM exhaust system?

This is one of the great things about @dirtydeeds and why his systems really standout over the rest. He has built fixtures and with those fixtures he can pretty much build whatever setup his customers are looking for on their truck, ship it to the customer, and they are ready to bolt on the truck once you receive the system. Depending on what exactly you are looking for in your reroute, I believe Keith has a few different options he can run by you. I know the Y Pipe bolts on in the OEM location. Come next week, when he is feeling better, I’m sure he will definitely chip in on this question himself. Here’s another pic of the Y Pipe at a different angle.

Gotcha. Makes sense :) I was thinking maybe 7-7 1/2” myself. Do you have the CMC or anything else done?

Nice! Well then you have plenty of time. You can pretty much watch my install go down as I have the same system as you will be installing yourself. I have everything except my Fox Rear Shocks are still being built. They should be arriving any day now. I do know that Keith is going to be playing around with 10-20 different setups and so there will be plenty of options to choose from. He’s also playing around with the X and Y Pipes and where they are located under the truck, further back or more forward, etc. The other great thing is he will also continue to improve this system as time goes on.

Wait until you hear the Y Pipe. I’m excited for the new videos to get uploaded. I think you’ll like that one as well.

Good to hear that it’s modular... brings me back to my Subaru days where you could mix/match downpipes, midpipes, and rear sections from different companies to get the sound or performance you were after.

I’m over loud exhausts and plan to keep my muffler, but a bolt-on reroute for skids is appealing. Thanks!

That is exactly how this setup will be. 4 Part System: Mid Pipes, X or Y Pipe, Muffler, and Tailpipe Sections. All Sections come with Various Options. That’s the great thing about @dirtydeeds. They specialize in Performance Sound without the Drone. They can literally make it sound however you would like it.

I'd just like an alternative to URD's y-pipe design. If more power comes with it i'm all for it.

I’m going to order whichever setup provides the most power without throwing a check engine light and that dumps before the rear axle.

I would have to say that is a yes. I do not have the URD Y Pipe, but I do have Dirty Deeds Y Pipe on my Truck now and I absolutely love it. I do not have any mufflers connected currently because we wanted to test this system out on my drive home. @dirtydeeds has a couple things he will be whipping up for me to test out this week or next to go with this system I currently have on my truck. There is a slight Drone between 2-3k RPMs, but Keith already has that figured out. He will be sending it to me soon to try out. If that fixes it, which he already has stated it will, then this system will be absolutely perfect. It has a great sound to it with no Drone. It current exits out the side of the Passenger Side Cab.

    917B0F1E-A254-4537-8494-024FBB3DBBCD.jpg

We were running a Dump for me to test out on my trip back, but an hour before I picked my truck up, Keith thought of this new adjustment and switched it really quick. I also have the Dump with me and I plan on unbolting the Side Exit sometime soon (probably after this tank of gas) and testing out the Dump. I wasn’t sure I would like this addition but since I have driven with it for over 800 Miles now, it has definitely grown on me a lot. I obviously am running the Steps on my Truck so it works great for my setup because I don’t foresee myself Rock Crawling. However, that is where the Dump will come in handy for those that want this system but don’t want the Side Exit. Just use the Dump and that would be perfect. I will post a pic of the Dump piece I will be Switching out and testing. With this option, I absolutely love how it opens up the back of my bed. There is nothing in the way back there now. I would be able to mount my 35” Tire with no problem if I wanted to or my Water Tank. I know Keith has the X Pipe and Single and Dual Full Systems as well, but I don’t know. I may stick with this one in the end. Even when I get the Turbo eventually, I think I will probably go to the X Pipe at that point, increased size piping, and have the Dual Side Exit with a Tailpipe exiting in the same location but one on each side. If not one on each side, then a Dual Dump or a Dual Exhaust Tip Side Exit in the current location. Something similar to these:

Well I am currently running the exact system you are wanting then. Once I switch out my Side Exit section with my Dump Section, that will be the way you want to go!

Is your system using factory exhaust hanging points or are you having to weld new hanging spots?

I was trying to talk to him last week about routing the exhaust around my drive shaft since I have a single piece. It sits a couple inches lower towards the front and It would be nice to know it could be slightly modified to work.
