I can assure you that a manual can be driven using a crutch when leg is broken.

    Man I love this 1.04R.

The tsb is good but 1.04R kicks it up a notch. It begs to be driven faster off the line. Can’t really baby it. Power kicks in right away. Wondering what 1.05 would bring. Does anyone know?

I’d run an extension cord and setup your computer next to the truck. The usb extenders vary in delivery. Meaning it could f up you flash.

There's actually an AT guy that has posted about how he really does use his desktop with monitor out in the garage to flash his truck lol you'll be fine, it's been done :)

But as someone above said, i wouldn't use a USB extension. Just lug the thing out there

I'd order when he is taking orders again (is he not right now?), independent of 1.05 being released or not. As a customer, you get all tunes for free anyway, and if it gets delayed for a long time, what's the harm in running a previous version? 1.03C and up have been excellent map updates, and we're on 1.04A and 1.04R now, depending on if you've updated to the newer TSB ECU version

If you install Techstream that Mat so generously provided us with, you can flash the TSB yourself. If you want to pm me, i can hook you up with the relevant links and even the TSB file for the updated calibration

For what it's worth though, the update isn't required for 1.05...just an ECU ID difference really. Up to you

As for him not taking orders while prepping 1.05, I believe it. Just didn't know, my bad
