With less pros being built vs off-road/sport. I'm going to assume the quality assurance checks on the pro are a bit more stringent before it goes out the factory.

I don’t think so mine left the Texas factory without wheel weights. Dealership made it right and I understand shit happens I’m still happy camper. But I will say I love TW and all the internet commandos!!! You take all the stress away!

Don't think I have ever seen a VID placard or mentioned that was the date I was giving. Just figured everyone would infer that when I said built on 3/19, and we were in the year 2018, everyone would understand that it was March 19, 2018. When I called my dealer about a status updated, they were the ones that told me my build date was 3/19 (called them at the end of March also though).

    Sorry if I confused anyone....

I've been following this thread and glad the admins cleaned up the BS posts that did nothing but create a lot of drama. It's a shame that some peoples' lives are so miserable that they have to piss on everyone else with unsolicited, irrelevant opinions that are aimed to do nothing but demean someone else.

I've been a member for just over two months now, and absolutely love the advice and experiences shared. My Cement OR DCSB was delivered exactly one month ago today and I love it. It's currently my wife's temporary daily driver and she is loving it.

Very happy for you OP that you finally got a truck you are happy with. Beautiful truck!

Thanks for the post. The Admins deleted my huge last post that answered a lot of questions. Of course some of the questions were BS ridicule questions, but I answered them anyway.

But some of it was that I have been driving Toyota trucks since 1992 when Ford screwed me, not the dealer, Ford Corp. I will never buy another brand. So I am a loyalist, but maybe not a "super fanboy". This other truck was the first truck ever that has been in the shop. And then it had 4 things wrong on day one and the dealer said to my face that other trucks do it so we ain't fixin it. So now I got what I wanted in the first place so it all worked out.

To help pay for it, my 1993 Tacoma TRD Sport was totaled with 87,000 miles on it. And to show you how much they hold value, (another reason I won't buy anything else), the insurance company gave me $22,000 for it!!! I only payed $29k in April 2013. No way could I ever get that on a trade in or private sell.

Does that Cement color hide dirt easily?

    22,000 for a 1993? You sure that’s not a typo?

I think I still had 1992 stuck in my head. Yes typo oops, 2013, but I know right. It still is way more then I expected. I almost fell out of my chair when Allstate called me. I was waiting for them to low ball like they have before. So they direct deposited $10k first, which is max amount, and then sent the rest in a check minus my $500 deductible for $11,430.13 !!!

Ok I’m still confused, they gave you 22k for a 25 year old truck. You also say you paid 29k for it in 2013. Are you sure they didn’t pay you a settlement and the value of your truck. No way they actually gave you 22k for a 25 year old truck.
