Plus the more shocks the better and he has more shocks than probably 75% of the LT guys out there. Including me

Which raises the question. What am I doing with all the money I don't have? Clearly not spending it on front bypasses.

Gonna cost me selling a combination of about 9-10 sets of sliders or mx haulers. So...who needs rock sliders or mx haulers? Though most people in here can fab up their own likely

2” would probably be fine and you can do the spring cup if you still need a little extra

Edit: to clarify I think Kings standard is 1” so you would need the +1” extended, 2”overall. Just call Nick to confirm.

Can’t you guys just buy the taco seat brackets and sliders from another company like Corbeau to use ? They are so cheap it does not seem worth the effort to fab a set ?

Prp also sells a set for 1st gens but thier jig is a little off. The holes don't line up right. I ended up filing a couple of holes and cutting and rewelding tabs.

Looking for thoughts on this. Feel free to tell me if it's dumb, weird, smart, whatever haha. But I am tired of breaking inner tie rods while wheeling (more rock climbing and trail riding than the go fast stuff). So I figured I would borrow the idea of heim steering but use a fj80 tie rod end. My theory is it will still have a weak point for failure if I get bound up to much, be easy for maintenence, and it is something autopart stores will have if I ever need one in a hurry.

I did have to drill my spindle out and make a bushing to match the new taper but I'm willing to try it. Thanks for your inputs and hoping I thought of everything but you guys are a lot smarter than me haha

I think Sandy Cone is in the same ball park. Not much info on his site, so you have to call him. Super knowledgeable and will make sure to point you on the right direction without having to break the bank nor the truck.
