Quick question regarding Katskin leather on 3rd gen....

My back seat no longer has a strap/latch to fold the seatdown with the Katzkin leather. How is everyone undoing their seat (the side behind the passenger seat)?

Those grey ones look like mine!! Nice to have a 3 day weekend to put them in, just in case i screw the pooch or something. I bet it will take exponentially less hog rings then my 66 Chevelle took!

    Started at 3:30.
    Finished at 10:15.
Still have to wire the heaters in the next few weeks.

I cannot even describe the pain in my fingers and wrists. Too dark to take pics, so I’ll snap a few in the morning. I can say though, I absolutely LOVE the final product.

IIRC it was 850 extremely well spent dollars.

Yes. I stripped the interior Friday after work, put down a layer of dynamat then a layer of mass loaded vinyl then put the carpet back in. Started the seats Saturday morning at 7am, finished around 9pm. I had already put heated seat pads under the factory cloth back in March so that saved some time this go around. I like upholstering seats, this is my 10th or so set Ive done, last set was for an LC80.

The wrinkles are working themselves out finally (thanks VA heat and humidity) and I wrapped the console lid today.
Redline Goods makes a nice product and I opted for the lowest additional padding. Total PITA with so much gluing.

Very nice job on your interior install. Agree, Redline Goods makes a nice product in their console covers - maybe a PIA to install - but the result is well worth the effort. Redline Goods even offers piping vs stitching if you are so inclined.
