i set them at 1.75" i believe, 3rd groove from the bottom. it definitely levels the truck out and the tires give it a bit taller height. these tires and 5100s ride sooo niice!

I was able to reuse them you just have to be easy on them, for some reason they didn't break apart like some do in other locations.

Good to hear. Did they include the metal tabs/retainers that the mounting screws go into?

You need some wiring harnesses that are specific to your truck. It took a professional installer 1.5 hours. That being said it's not exactly plug and play. You have to hard wire a few things and connect the kenwood harness to the truck harness...then it plugs into your factory plugs

I bought 4 red and 4 white 12 SMD LED Panel lights on ebay (links at the bottom). I chose the 12 SMD LED because I measured and I don't think the factory housing would hold a larger LED.

I mounted them in the factory housing and drilled a small hole to run the wires into the back of the housing. I then wired all the grounds together, and connected it to the ground on one of the festoon adapters which the LEDs came with.

I connected all the red + together, and all the white + together, then ran each of those to a mini SPDT switch (I personally prefer a switched hot instead of a switched ground, but to each their own). So, one pin of the switch receives power from the festoon, then the other 2 pins are connected to the + side of the LEDs.

I had to dremel out a small channel for the back of the switch to stick through as it's too deep for the factory housing. Then I drilled a hole in the lens to mount the switch to.

Here you can see the holes I drilled for the wires, and the rectangular cutout I made for the switch to poke through. I don't have a photo of the finished wiring on the switch, but the 3 red wires at the bottom of the photo were connected to the switch:

White (I'd personally look for a different white, these are much more blue than I'd like. I'd prefer to find something in the 4000k range, these are probably ~6000k) - https://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-White-1...A9S-Dome-Festoon-Adapters-12V-US/171574618646

In the conditions you run your truck, dirt is going to get into the boot and probably start messing up the constant velocity (CV) joint that the boot is trying to protect

It's a lot more expensive if you have to replace the whole cv axle
