    My wife had a Honda Pilot with a cracked foglight so it failed inspection. They quoted her some ungodly $$$ amount to replace it. $600ish IIRC. I bought the light online for $125ish and my then 10y/o son and I replaced it in about an hour and a half. That was with me reading the directions and him doing most the work since he could slide under the car easier.

    When I comes to lights (fogs especially)

    You can always take out both fogs then pass

    Yeah, I know. But the labor to remove a light was about the same as the labor ro replace it, so we replaced it.

    Nice! I picked up my current Tacoma at the end of January this year and am sitting at a shade under 11K right now.

    Unfortunately he was cited for parking on Park Property. The highway part is irrelevent in this case.

    Section 5. Parking Regulations

    1. (1) Vehicle parking on Park Property is allowed only during normal business hours for the use and convenience of Commission employees, patrons, and visitors.
      (2) No person shall park any vehicle on Park Property at any time or for any purpose other than his or her lawful use and enjoyment of Park Property.
    2. No person shall stop, stand, idle, or park a vehicle on Park Property
      1. in front of a public or private driveway;*
      2. on a sidewalk;*
      3. at an intersection, or within thirty-five (35) feet of an intersection;*
      4. in a crosswalk, or within twenty (20) feet of a crosswalk;*
      5. between a safety zone and the adjacent curb, or within thirty (30) feet of points on the curb immediately opposite the ends of a safety zone, unless otherwise indicated by a posted sign, marking, or officer;*
      6. alongside any obstruction;*
      7. on a bridge or other elevated structure;*.....
    http://www.mncppc.org/236/Park-Rules-Regulations

    They are emulating the State code for traffic laws, but applying it to all park property it appears. So I would not focus on the highway part so much as the rediculousness of the chicken shit ticket that is not what was intended when the regulation was written. Might well be worth reading the citation to the judge and asking if this is intended to apply to a highway or parking lot.

    You could also say the citation is invalid as it does not contain your name and address as required by the code, unless I am reading it wrong.(b)(3)(i) below...

    (b)(1) A Commission park police officer may deliver a citation to any person charged with a Commission infraction.

    (2) The Commission shall:

    (i) retain a copy of the citation;  and

    (ii) include on the citation a certification attesting to the truth of the matter specified in the citation.

    (3) The citation shall also contain:

    (i) the name and address of the person charged;

    (ii) the nature of the infraction;

    (iii) the location and time that the infraction occurred;

    (iv) the amount of the fine assessed for the infraction;

    (v) the manner, location, and time in which the fine may be paid to the Commission;  and

    (vi) notice of the person's right to a trial for the infraction.

    Haha! Luckily, my commute is mostly 2-lane backroads with only 2 miles on 95 south in the morning.

    Lucky is right. I honestly don't know how some people do that regular commute on 95 every day. I would've been on the news by now if it was me.

    I can swing it, but the difference in price would also pay for the accessories that are required to go with it like the inflator kit, mount, etc... Knowing me, I will probably say fuck it and go with the dual.
