No. Too blue. I liked Wyoming and Montana in the summer but that's too cold during most of the year. Not nearly enough humidity either.

My wife is a mortgage underwriter. We were talking the other day about housing markets and loans. She said the same ole easy lending is starting to creep back into mortgages. Just a matter of time before a housing crash happens again. She predicted the first one.

 

I don't live here for the politics. I live here because I'm at most 2 hours from just about any terrain I can imagine. high sierras, pacific ocean, desert, it's all here.

State/national politics are constantly changing. If you based where you live off your politics, why haven't all the liberals left the US now, and why didn't any conservatives leave in 2009? Because in the grand scheme it doesn't Fing matter.

You can almost set your watch to these things. The problem is that people have an extremely short attention span and an even shorter memory. People were yelling armageddon when Lehman Bros went under, and yet, here we are again...

I’m debating on if I want to get my degree here or not. I’d like to transfer to an actual engineering school like Cal Poly after I get my GE done.

But we’ll see. So far I like it here.

I tried commuting. That wasn’t fun. I have to get on like four different freeways to get here, and I only live across the bridge in Hayward.

People are so bad at driving...

 

My cold is nothing like what you consider cold. But San Francisco is it’s own microclimate, it’s not only cold. It’s misty, hazy, and there’s a wind chill.
