    If buying used, have him check out the inventory at "Down Under Auto Sales" they tend to go after Toyota and other "imports" and usually have a decent selection. We bought a 2003 Honda Accord from them many years ago, not a single issue and my mom still drives it. Also previously got a 2007 Tundra barebones work truck at a fair price..... They're great guys, they're a bit lazy so they don't put any effort into being shady.
