installed this a few days ago. Just seems like it’s not long enough. Flaps around pretty good too when fully closed. Was hoping for a bit tighter fit.

Anyone else have fitment issues? Really it needs to be an inch longer.

Just installed the same cover today. Moved it back a little, split it about halfway in the front rail.

Haven't road tested it yet. Be heading to the Cape this weekend, will see how it does then.

Yeah I was thinking of moving it back just a bit. The front as it sits right now is flush to the inside.

If it is flapping, then you should check the cab rail seal. Changing air pressures inside the bed from the front will make the canvas flap, and eventually destroy it.

how do you tighten it down? The only thing holding the whole assembly in place is the 4 brackets.

I installed mine a few weeks ago and it seems taut, no flapping. The tension front to rear is adjustable, but mine was OK out of the box. But it takes quite a bit of force to flip the latch over center ... though increasing tension a lot probably only increases the actual length 1/4-1/2” or so. Side to side tension adjustment is not really possible. I do think the cover is an inch or two shorter overall than ideal for a 3rd gen, but I was able to get adequate overlap front and rear for now. No rain or leak testing yet, though.

Unfortunately, you can't. If you see daylight under the cab rail, then add extra seals.

I would call the manufacturer and se if they can supply some. Otherwise, you will probably have the best luck at a Ace hardware for foam tape.
