So I've noticed in looking around I think it's the base models that have molded plastic where fog lights should be?

At any rate I'm looking at a 2013 that has TRD stickers but no fog lights, which confused me. Did someone just put a TRD sticker on this one? The tailgate lettering only says "PreRunner."

Thanks. So it also has the 17" (if I'm not mistaken) wheels also?

Thats a SR/Base model with the 4cyl. The grey grille and the grey fender flares with no fog lights give it away. Its not a TRD. Its the same model as mine but i have painted my grille and added the factory fogs. I think those wheels are 16's but could be wrong and the truck didnt come from the factory with them. Good looking truck though. Just dont pay a TRD price for it.

Aha, so I was right to be confused. This is for sale at a Toyota dealer, too.

So you can actually add real fog lights to this?

My friend, you can add real fog lights to anything with a power source.

Yep, and pretty simple too. I bought some used from a local guy here on TW for $30 and a factory style switch from Amazon and wired them up. Pretty simple.

Is the wiring already down there for the fog lights? Do the existing black plastic discs pop out or something?

My base model has the plastic fillers where the fogs go. I bought the Caliraised LED fog pods and fog light brackets...only to find my bumper doesn't have the stock brackets to bolt my "fog" pods into

I'm still trying to find someone with a wrecked bumper to unhook and sell me the brackets.

Mine did not have wiring but ive heard some do. The black disc has two screws and the fogs fit in the same way when removed.

Hmmm, I didn't realize that the Pre-runner was available not as a TRD. Does the base Pre-runner not have a locker nor downhill assist thingy?

    None.
Also, TRD will have the 110v outlet in the bed.

There are several good TW threads and you tube videos on how to install the fog lights.

You may be in luck buddy. I have a smashed bumper that I just ripped off the truck. If my cousin hasn’t trashed it yet, I can go get them. From a 2015 prerunner
