A friend is doing a 4.7 Toyota in a Tacoma. If that pans out, may be the route I go eventually. Had a 4.7 in a 2000 Tundy. Sedate enough for DD. Enough zing for the occasional smokey burnout.

    Or.

LS swap in FJ... Save FJ V6 for Tacoma some day.

    Or.

Leave em BOTH the hell alone.

No pussy auto. Rowing gears like Ronnie Sox.
Had more in it but school came first.
Should have kept it and said fu to school cause it didn’t help me start higher up or teach me anything.

If my son wears out the Tacoma and I'm still on the upside of sod, I'd like to drop a diesel in it. That would be pretty cool.

Same as I'm doing now plus a occasional street race

Already have a .060 over 350sbc that's 500hp but it's 18 yrs old about 20k miles on it and it's tired , using oil and blowby . At .060 overbore the block can't be resused so I would need to get a new block anyways

Can fix the issues with the cage and other items for not that much $$$$ , talked with a race fab shop the other day !!

Last time I built / assembled a motor myself it kicked the rods out within a few months had bearing clearance issues and low oil press , don't want to go down that road again . The parts alone for the 434sbc total $7500 and the block being the most $$ at $3500 , those Dart Little M blocks are pricey but are bullet proof !!!

It's either that or maybe getting something such as this !!!

This isa affordable fully built NHRA Legal and licensed for the street

Plenty of diesel Tacos in Venezuela. Can anyone say "roadtrip"? Just drive an old American made one down and drive the diesel back. Not like the border people would care.

A good friend of mine had an awesome Nova that he used to street race. He has a Boston accent, so it took me a while to figure out what a "Chevy Novaaaaah" was.

20 years ago I paid $4k for my Camaro , nowadays that $$ won't even get you a rolling shell . I've seen many 70-73 Camaro rusted out parts cars going for almost $10k nowadays !!
