The really funny part is the seller putting the link where he bought it from. I'm not paying the new price for used goods. Yeah sure you avoid taxes and shipping, but what they don't tell you is that there was a Bukkake scene in that tent and a half a pound of Jamaican lambs wool was smoked in there for a filming of bang bros RTT series

Yeah it needs to fit over the raised lip on the top of the shock tower. I didn't make it a close fit since there's a radius there, didn't see a need to spend more time making it a close fit.

What's the Toyota factory in Baja called? Fremont was NUMMI, San Antonio is TMMTX, and I can't find the Baja designation.

Those were the only factories that manufactured Tacomas, right?

Dont know. Dont care. All I know is to look for San Antonio built trucks if I buy a newer one.

Funny how Tacomas are more American than the F150 or Colorado, since they're actually majority built in the U.S.

I'm surprised no one makes these. Really easy to make, not by me though.....

@Speedytech7 I can make them for you but to be honest it won't be worth it if I make them. They not a precision part so they don't need to be machined.

Just the material alone cost me $27. They only need to be roughly 4-3/8" dia & my local supplier only sells 4" & 6" round plate. So I had to buy 6" & turn it down, lots of wasted material & wasted of time. I have 5" solid round bar but that would have taken me much longer to machine these so I paid the price for the round plates. It took me hours to make these. I don't have CNC machines either.

Ideally it would be best to have them cut out on a water jet or cnc plamsa. Much quicker & easier. I only machined them cause I can & cause I needed them today. Otherwise I would have had them burned out by someone. Get a bunch of them made so you can make some money on it too.

With that said I can make em for you but you'd think I'm crazy for the price I'd have to charge.

It's because they can more closely monitor the quality of their vehicles coming from Araco or Toyota city. Trucks are subject to the chicken tax though so they're made here to subvert that and cars are so low buck it makes sense to make them here.
