4lo disable airbag

    Saw it on the Facebook group. Someone posted that link of that piece of shit Chevy blowing airbags with the mildest off road.

    I mentioned how we can't disable ours like the 2nd gen, and someone posted saying he heard that ours turn off in 4lo

    So can anyone confirm?
    Any of the Toyota techs know?

    Would like to know for sure. I've never had an issue off road but I have been considering pulling fuse.

    It must work as intended. I read a ton on here and don't recall ever reading about it happening.

    Same here. Chevy problems aren't our problems even if it isn't disabled in 4lo the problem you're concerned with doesnt appear to be an actual problem for us. I wouldn't worry about it.
