My truck works well, it is easy to keep running, anymore than that and it'd be expensive too. It's not worth it for looks in my mind, it's still a pickup truck wheeler even if I doll it up so might as well keep things easy

A cheap maaco paint job cheapens it more than some character and rust. It's just a beater anyway and I don't live in rust land.

Id never advertise it but I'm sorta just waiting for an offer on it one time when I go somewhere, I'm ready for another wheeling rig.

I'd buy another LC, but I'd also jump up to a Second Gen too. Third gen is too poorly thought out although I like the body style. Early second gen would be perfect. ACLB with the 2.7 and a manual

Okay, need some help.

I'm changing a water pump on a 2001 Toyota Sienna 3.0l v6 and it has the traverse engine and transmission. The manual says to remove the bolt for the crankshaft, as you have to take the pulley off for the water pump to clear.

Now here's the issue, of course the crankshaft is going to spin with the bolt. The manual says to lock the engine bu jamming a screwdriver in the flexplate, but we can't do this because there's no inspection plate.

Toyota FSM says to use an SST to lock the pulley, but you can't buy this tool anywhere.

How the hell do you get the bolt off? Breaker bar does nothing, impact just makes it angrier.

 

Make sure it not left handed thread

 

Are they usually left-hand threaded? I couldn't tell.
