    i had these lights from o'reilly i though they where pretty good. them Seem like they where brighter than the led bars. But you have to get a bunch of them to really make difference.

    Thanks, I’d probably get 4 for the grill, and if they are narrow enough of a beam for my liking I migh get 6 more for the roof.

    Sometimes the cheaper HIDs out there have poor high Kelvin color bulbs in them too.

    It's quite easy to replace an HID bulb with a higher quality better temperature unit as long as you can get to it w/out really messing something up.

    I have looked at these before but haven't committed yet. I do think they also offer a 6" version.

    Yeah, hopefully if anything it’s just a low grade bulb, and I can replace it with a better one if need be.

    May order one, and just wire it up and see it’s beam / color / brightness. That way if I’m not happy I can return just one, or buy another 3 if I do like them.
