Welcome Jim! I'd love to see the show too! Will have to set the DVR once I know when it'll be on!

A lot of the mods people do on the cheap are listed in the thread in my sig. I'm a big fan of cheap mods, but things that actually increase hp or mpg peak my interest! Seems to be a lot of conflicting data on the results of intakes, exhaust systems, etc. Only thing I've really seen proven to add hp is a URD or TRD supercharger. And only thing I've seen to improve mpg is the AFE Pro Dry filter I added to mine (2-3mpg). Other mods I've done that claimed to improve mpg or hp have had no effect. And I have yet to see a programmer like there are for domestics that can increase power OR mpg depending on the setting you use.

    None currently,
How about covering installation of the Toyota super charger?
When is it going to air?

    Welcome to TW Jim.

    My suggestions:
Rework front/rear suspension to provide increased wheel travel and tire size allowances. (Camburg Engineering)

Exchange rear drum brakes with disk brakes.
Exchange two piece drive shaft with one piece drive shaft.

Install new front bumper with winch, light bar, and upgraded front skid plate.

Replace stock intake and exhaust, I recommend TRD - simply because it shows off Toyota's in house capabilities.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

Thanks for the heads up Jim. Radical is always cool but for some of us middle aged family guys we still need functionality of a daily driver. I like originality, performance, yet subtle clean lines.

I have the TRUEFLO XDi Cold Air Intake that has way different sound than any K&N I've installed on previous vehicles but there is a droning sound around 3800-4000 rpm that I would love a professional fix for.

Everyone has WESTIN Bull bars and I don't see alot of options without going to the offroad look. I like the look of the HUNTER but don't know much about them.

Exhaust, what is the best bang for your buck without the barking sound? A FLOWMASTER changes the sound but is it worth cutting your original exhaust? Borla? Gibson? TRD?

I'm putting in a Kenwood DNX8120 and DVD Headrest's for the rugrats that will make it a little more fun inside.

Tinting the windows. What to look for so you don't look like those guys going down the street with the airbubbles everywhere.

Toytec lifts - 3" spacer front, back? add a leaf? What's the best for daily driver and maintain some sort of mileage with a set of 33's?

The possibilities are endless that's why we love our Tacoma's.

    My thoughts anyways.

Let's get it right, I'm 46! Don't make me older than I am.
I was a young whipper snapper back in the spring of 1980 and I was getting around.

Cool! Even an episode number or air date would help me locate it online.
