I used the Maverick's fast key (full power, not the one that limits it to 45mph) yesterday.
In Eco mode this thing in incredible, in sport mode this thing is unbelievable.
WOW you wanna talk get up & go, this thing flies.
I've only gotten it up to a little over 65mph so far. Gonna want a nice long flat spot to open it up.

They are up here in Montana. I was so confused the first time I saw it. So are quads. It's been a lot of fun riding around town.

Out here in the boonies they just look the other way.
My NHP neighbor showed me how to hop over Hwy 50A & where to find the railroad underpass that leads to a nice big spot with a ton of trails to play on.
P.S. I got it up to 75 mph today before I backed off. Still don't know what the top end is.

One of the many advantages of living in the boonies.
I can go out and play every day. The 80 50/50A 95 triangle is almost all accessible & there's a spot I can go under 80 & head up towards Pyramid Lake.
Look at all those miles of trails to explore in my front yard. If you got a SxS or quad bring it out and play

No idea how an Off Highway Vehicle permit makes you street legal (unless you live in Ferntucky or Falabama).
As for slow, mine does slow when I put it in P, R, N or L.
When I put it in H there is no slow.
Only got it up to 75 mph so far before backing off. No idea what top end is yet (speedo goes to 130)

Hey Randy, will that pull your camping trailer? That would be sweet to get into some backcountry off the beatin path camping with that thing.

Not gonna try, but I'm sure it could. I wanna put my RTT on my new trailer. I think the easiest way (and still have it fit in my garage <can't park trailer in garage with Maverick on it so I'm running out of room in my garage>) would be to hinge it off the front.
It would transport (and store) vertically, then I'd pick up front & put in supports to make it ready to open & camp.
I want the best of both worlds. I wanna take my toy camping.
Won't fit under the RR bridge, but it wouldn't be hard to get to the other side of the tracks.
Dog doesn't have to be my co pilot. @la0d0g could be.20180910_161022.jpg
I got a great place for you to park it.
Will you be serving food & refreshments?

Well if you take the snow off the mountains, loose the trees & replace the lake with a salt flat or marsh I got just the spot for you.

Remember when there were three sets of tracks in every road that was really off the beaten path? You had the standard passenger vehicle tracks, and then the "quads" that would have one wheel in a tire track and the other would always land dead center of the roadway. It seemed like EVERY backroad had that. Not so much anymore.

Alot of the old jeep trails are now barely passable with a passenger vehicle as most people that want to access these remote spots are in a side by side, and the traffic does not make clearance for trucks anymore.

With all the population growth in Northern NV, and time after time pulling up to some of my old exploration grounds to see a new clean Suburban with a trailer and the ramp down, I am the crotchety man that curses the side by sides. :anonymous::angrygirl: ..... Honestly they are badass, but I am quickly growing tired of swerving to avoid them coming around blind corners at 40+ miles and hour.

@4Wheelin4Banger just to clarify, this is not at all directed at you. You have great taste and that thing looks like a blast. I would also imagine you have the experience and respect for the land and fellow explorers to operate one. Seems to be mainly be the people that have spent little time out in the boonies go and pick up a side side only to wreak havoc out there.

I see your point & a lot of the trails just north of me never were passable by car or truck (at least without MAJOR Sierra pin striping). It looks like most started as quad trails that grew into SxS trails.
What really gets me are the people that load up their SxSs with trash & take it out to dump it.
I can't believe the trash I'm seeing out there.
