I just got some... I am installing sometime this week or next. I'll let you know.

I wanted better alignment, maintenance free and a bit more flex than stock ucas.

Plus they are not outrageously priced for a hunk of metal.

I just opened them... got them 5 mins ago literally.

Them seem heavy duty and the ball joint much stronger than stock..

The only thing is I am replacing all of my suspension with OME along with the UCAs... so I probably can't give you as much info as someone adding the UCA later.

The reason I chose Light Racing upper control arms was for alignment.

Special Products Company makes Light Racing. SPC also makes parts and tools for automotive alignment. All of the other UCAs are manufactured from an off-road perspective.

I wanted my lifted truck to drive perfect. The other control arms have built in caster but they cannot be adjusted if needed like the LR UCAs. I also wanted something maintenance free. Uni-Ball control arms require constant lubrication and can be noisy. Light Racing UCAs do provide slightly more flex than stock UCAs but not near as much as a Uni-ball. My truck is a daily driver so that is not an issue. I also will have an 2.5" OME suspension, 33s, 4.56s and an ARB Air Locker so I will do just fine off-road. So I am fine with just a slight flex improvement - again my main goals are alignment. The ball joint that comes with the LR UCAs is more heavy duty than the stock one. The LR UCAs are black and don't have any stupid lettering on them like the others. I prefer clean and simple. The UCAs are also priced reasonably. I personally would rather spend $700 on a front ARB air locker than a uniball UCA.

The Light Racing UCAs were $450.00

The control arm has been designed with +2 Degrees caster built in

You then adjust caster an additional +/- 2 Degrees.

The caster changes are as follows (in addition to the 2 degrees of caster built)

    +2.0
    +1.75
    +1.0
    0
    -1.0
    -1.75
    -2.0

I will follow up with my thoughts after they are installed.

Just got my truck back... OME Lift with Light Racing Upper Control Arms.

    Drives like a dream!

My buddy who is a mechanic installed everything. Ride is great. He was impressed with the UCAs. He said they were designed really well - very easy to adjust and align the vehicle - They are a must have for perfect alignment!

My truck drives perfect with the new OME suspension and LR UCAs.

    LOVE IT!

I would highly recommend OME suspension with LR UCAs, 33x10.50s, 4.56 and arb air locker!

    You can't go wrong!

Steering Rack Bushings are also a must!

what comes with the LR UCA's? is there a new ball joint cause i didnt have a ball joint press when installing my OME struts so i ended up just using a pickle fork and messed up the rubber housing on the ball joint plus i need some new ones noticing my truck isnt just perfect for alignment yet wanders to the right a little.

Very interested as I know my alignment is off after installing my coilovers. On the freeway the steering is really twitchy from the lack of caster.

you should always get an alignment after changing the ride height. that's why you have twitchy steering. ..not because you need adjustable uca's.. ..adjustable uca's may help in some situations. ...but for most people running less than 3" of lift, alignment isn't an issue using the stockers.

We are each different in how much tolerance we have for "twitchiness". I don't doubt that KumaWRX has had his truck aligned to as high a caster as it is capable of.

After a lift our trucks are incapable of achieving a high enough caster number (more than 2 degrees) with stock UCAs to eliminate all wander at highway speeds.

Even though the spec says that a caster of 1 to 2 degrees is within tolerance, that does not mean that we will like the way it drives.

It has a new ball joint. The ball joint is much more heavy duty than the stock one.

    I agree completely.

I have an OME Suspension on a 2.7L Reg Cab - which gave me around a 3" lift and it drives perfect with 33x10.50s.

The LR UCAs helped for sure!

I didn't install them so I don't know. It will need to be aligned and adjusted - obviously that is the point of getting them - to improve alignment
