Why in the Tacoma World is Pelfreybilt Offroad even still listed in the official vendors section of this forum???

They probably have a good reason. Many, if not all, know the situation and have commented in here.

 

I ordered on 4/10 and got dispute put in and money credited and I filed my dispute on the 5th of sept

 

Maybe so others will know about it also in the future. Not to mention you delete that area and this thread goes with it. Who really knows if all affected in this matter know about it yet? Letters are still going out, others didn't even get a letter.

Originally the investors pulled out because the community was too toxic. Now it's because they made big purchases. This is all a load of bullshit and the pelfreys are just trying to save face now.

Money talks and bullshit walks. Possible the “investors” did there due diligence and realized there was no need for a cash infusion. They probably saw some value in the company. And like any good investor realized IF they wanted in on the business. All they had to do was wait until bankruptcy and buy the asssets for pennies on the dollar. Or most likely they realized that there is nothing really special about making off road armour. There is no moat to keep others from starting up. Yes they had some nice designs, but most could be copied with slight changes. Hell they didn’t even manufacture there products, seemed laser nut did. So what investor would poor millions into the PB. When the investor could just outsource the product set up a new website and not owe 600 people back orders. Not many investors I rub elbows with are gonna .

 

Not as dumb, slow, or stupid as the pelfreys business management.
