When the dealer showed me the power outlet in the bed, i chuckled and wondered if I would ever use it...well one week later I used it with power tools while replacing a gate. What have you used yours for?20180428_111802.jpg

It works well with tools that draw low amperage. Wet vacs and such don't work well. I've used it with my jigsaw and for my Christmas led lights.

I used mine to make coffee on my road trip. Come to find out the CoffeeBoxx needs about 1000W of power. That turned out to be a fail.

I guess I need to upgrade the factory inverter.

I really haven’t used it. I hooked a 12amp chainsaw to see what it would do. It turned, but needs another 600 watts to do the trick. I have a 1500/3000 watt inverter that I use on my portable solar setup. Was contemplating swapping out the truck inverter for something more robust; curious if anyone has done that...I’m sure it’s way more headache than it’s worth tho.

Used mine to “charge” a buddy’s camera battery. Forgot to hit the button inside the cab though - so it obviously did absolutely nothing. :frusty:

+2 That is my main use. That and charging RC car/truck batteries. I've got two sons under 10.

That I blame for my 25 year RC addiction lol .

Used mine for tools and charging batteries. Barely managed to make coffee after a storm knocked out power.

I use it for my edgestar fridge/freezer electric ice chest. Worked perfect. I only ran it while driving but it kept the drinks cold from Texas to Cali
