Did you guys have to relocate the back up camera?

 

Haha, good reception, but I agree looks weird there. It was temporary and I've moved it to the bed.

I have not yet. I can still see, but will relocate it when I have more time.

 

I'm a little confused here. Is this section not supposed to attach to the frame rail or just hang there?

 

I'll get there soon enough. That is a nice lookin rig though!

 

Does someone know the difference between their regular skids and their 'overland' skids? In typical CBI fashion, the production descriptions on their site leave much to be desired (they're basically the same!). But the Overland version is much more expensive. I mean, I know anything with "Overland" in it carries a 2x cost premium and all...

 

I think the overland skids are newer, but that is just speculation. I agree, their site is horrible for information. One picture, no installation instructions, and a non-link to "additional information". Come on!

 

lookin good man! i was curious if they gave you an option for aluminum IFS or not? i already have quite a bit of weight in the front and i havent even added a winch yet so im trying to shave some pounds... hoping they offer in aluminum since my heavy offroading is minimal/non existent lol

 

anyone know if these are compatible with ARB summit bar bumper and all of the bottom splash guard components?

No cause the rear skid has this area protected

 

I wasn’t given a choice but I assume they can make it in aluminum.

It doesn’t interfere with my bumper so I assume it works with any bumper. I would call to confirm though

 

Spoke with them today and they do indeed make both aluminum and steel... they also powdercoat them in the TRD Pro silver skid plate color if requested for any future purchasers...

 

But they don’t make them without the low hanging exhaust section correct?

 

Not that I'm aware of, but I'll ask if they would modify the 2nd skid as an option.

I'm in the same boat, DCLB for the practical truck use but not good for rock crawling.


How are you liking the all pro bolt on sliders??
I'm leaning heavily towards getting them.
Did you have to mod the pinch welds?
I was told to get the DOM tubing ones because the HREW flex.


Front bumper looks great, after running it for a while do you have andy issues?


On the rear bumper did the hitch leads reach?
....and the rear traffic sensors.....(assuming that you have that option).
