I came back from the wife's friend's house. Made two dump runs and her house is just about ready to go on the market. Came home and my daughter tells me the check engine light is on. Well, chaaa, it's a Dodge! Had a misfire code. Runs smooth so well just reset it and see if it happens again. Made an antenna mount for my ham radio antenna. Just have to paint and install.

It's attached to the cab sheet metal by two countersunk flat head screws with washers and lock nuts on the inside. I thought about going with a 5/8 wave off the back of the bed but 1/4 waves tend to perform a bit better with the hills and the repeaters aren't that far away.

Yeah I have a small window AC in the reloading room next to the garage (it is a tuck under multi level house). After more than 15 years it died a few weeks ago. So already have one sticking out of one window just off the ground. And not a visible side of the house so makes sense.

Never been down that far on the Missouri but hunt SD between Mobridge on the Missouri and Eureka up on the ND border. When the wind picks up it is unreal. We joke that once they cut the corn there is nothing between there and the Rockies to stop the wind. It would only be worse down in that area. But it isn't always windy.

November 6 and sweating in the field.

    6 days later.

The change happened in less than 24 hours. We take everything from sweat wicking clothing to heavy thermals. And often get to use all of it. It can change really fast there.

The sage brush sea starts on the West side of the Missouri, at least in the North.

So, since I'm pretty far removed from the east coast and can't see it from my front yard, has the storm pretty much fallen apart now and just a lot of rain? I was just flipping through the channels and all the "storm watch" channels are gone. The regular weather channels are showing a ton of commercials.

you talking about Tortoise moving Florence? She's STILL hanging around, moving like 2 mph.... pretty sure just a tropical storm and not (that I've heard) causing much damage, so getting boring

I seen it's up to 7 fatalities, but the sensationalism seems to be gone. Of course that dramatic weatherman probably didn't do ratings any favors.

As long as you guys are still good is what matters.

Last I heard it was 5, but :(

I saw that.... have to add my .02 - if you look his clothes are blowing as is the grass behind him.... maybe the guys behind him are behind something that's blocking the wind? :notsure: or it could be "false news" :notsure:

Bad enough there’s no reporters anymore. Now even the weatherman are actors.
