I'm in the market for a new set of shocks. This is my first truck so all this is pretty new to me, so go easy. My two contenders so far are, 2.0 Foxs for the front and rear with the rear having a remote reservoir. Second, is the ICON Stage 1 kit. That being said, is anyone running either of the two or have any other suggestions. My driving needs dont require anything too high performance just something to handle occasional light duty offloading. Any feedback would help.

I would go Fox personally. Icons really shine on go-fast type of terrain/wheeling...otherwise they can feel stiff on the street day to day.

Fox would be the better choice for a daily driver/weekend warrior IMO

It sounds like I have some research ahead of you as these companies do things very differently. I’d recommend reading up on the many threads that cover this topic and see what you can come up with.

Specifically Icon’s digressive valving as opposed to Fox/King progressive.

Congrats on the new rig BTW!

Icon/Bilstein(digressive valving) will typically give you better on road handling, but a firmer ride. Fox/king/ads(progressive valving) will typically have a softer on road ride, but will have a little more body roll/slower handling. Both have pros/cons for off road use for different scenarios; but I’ve personally always had a preference for progressive Offroad. Seems to soak up rough/rutted forest roads and small whoops better (at mid range speeds - as in not crawling, but also not driving pedal to the floor).

Kind of an over generalization, but-
Digressive: starts firm, softens as it compresses in travel.

Progressive: stars soft, firms as it compresses in travel.
