Well in the latest news, the rain has been fairly consistent today....and I’m still tired from the flight home.

Soooo question... I got 4 of my rigid rock lights replaced under warranty and they sent me 4 brand new A series rock lights that will have to be wired back in onto the truck.

My friend has an Oz-Ten RV-2 that he is thinking of selling for $500 and would meet me in Amarillo with it as he lives in CO... he wants rock lights and I am tempted to not put these lights back on my truck and work a deal out to sell him these lights plus cash for his Oz-Tent, which since I am not planning on doing a RTT any time soon and have wanted an Oz-Tent for a while. Seems like a pretty good deal right now, especially since I don't really run the rock lights very often and was going to have to buy more anyways to really have the setup I wanted with them without the shadows I have.

Trade them, you can always get some lights later. Not often you get the tent deal you want

 

True... question was sell the lights and get the tent or keep the lights and just buy the tent outright.

No idea, he is waiting to sell his OEM wheels and tires off his truck so he can put a deposit down on a camping trailer he is looking at, if he is able to get the trailer by the 21st of October, then I am able to get the tent before then. If not, then he will need the tent for a camping trip that is on the 21st of October.

 

Let me know when you are heading up there might ride with you. Got a custom 17 Remington barrel being made up there.

 

We went through this a while back. You were going to look up the 17 Remington specs it’s a barrel burner

 

If I am able to get it before the 21st, it may be the weekend of the 19th possibly. Just really depends on him. I have two wheeling trips in October, 11th-14th to Hot Springs and then 25th-28th to Barnwell, and he is doing some wheeling trips as well.

 

10-4 I hate that drive it is long and boring by yourself, let me know.
