I am considering buying a Tacoma, and want all the luxury features, but as I will likely put complete suspension upgrade before I ever drive it, I am curious if there is a model that saves a few dollars on package price, but gives me all the luxury features.

    Also would need lockers.

    Thanks

Buy the OR model, unless you want to spend the extra cash for the pro and remove half of its parts.

My point exactly. I want leather seats, lockers, power everything, but will put complete suspension for Baja dirt road and beach use right away.

Money is not the issue, but I have no doubt that I will be removing parts that are extra on certain packages.

So I will likely put bumpers, winch, full suspension, tires, wheels, all before I ever drive it.

As a pro owner, get an or. I'm going to feel real dumb beefing up my suspension for bumpers and Shiz.

So admittedly, I have not spoken to a dealer yet, but I have done the build feature online. I guess what I don't understand is if you are stuck with the packages they have, or can you custom order with heady modification in mind.

I have a friend in Utah who owns a dealership, and I will call him on Monday, but I know you guys probably have the answers, and I can just tell him what I want.

I live in Mexico, so I will buy the truck, and send it to a shop to have all the suspension and such done before I fly up to bring it down the Baja.

The truck use will be 90% off-road, going to and from home to off-grid resort. Dirt road along beach with very little maintenance (maybe graded once a year). I have 16-18 km of this daily, and do not want to drive my Audi S8.

Pretty much stuck with packages, they are not going to let you pick singular options. From your description it sounds as if an Off Road with Premium and Tech packages would be the best choice.
