What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Not too bad, hasn’t fogged (yet) between the Killeen/San Antonio rain. Reused the bulbs. Looks like I’ll need to adjust them, though, beam pattern looks low

I'll have to give it a try. The button doesn't light up like it's supposed to either so I don't think it's just the bulbs. I'll try the fuses and see.

Yeah, she's lucky I don't drive around with the ball on or else her radiator would've taken the brunt of it.

 

Did the pinch weld paint mod thingy while I touched up da slidahs!

 

Mounted the new tires, got a roof rack by @GHOST SHIP, and installed a light bar and chase lights.

 

Amsoil. Used the hand pump from there as well to fill the tranny and diff. Worked great.

 

Just have to cut my u bolts

 

Looks great ! Would not notice if u didn't point it out....but like me .and 9 of 10 Tacoma owners we tend to be OCD about our rides.

Scored a wicked awesome barn sale where I picked up an OEM AMP Research bed extender for $10. Now to install it properly. No instruction, No hardware.

 

started last weekend. I did the frame reinforcements for where the bumper mounts.



I refinished the front bumper with tintable bedliner.

Now just need to make my mind up about a winch

 

within the past few weeks ....new bumper,tow hitch, 3" front lift,1.5" rear. Added delay wipers,cruise,fog lights,backup camera.. 32" led light bar , led map and dome from here, 265/75/16 Hankook ATM'S on 16" steel wheels. access tarp. TRD bell on stock intake, AFE Dry Filter, OEM sound baffle removed. Color matched OEM honeycomb grill on its way. 33,000 mile truck

 

All I gotta say is that is sexy. Like the color matched.

 

I'm upgraded my sound system. My first mod and it cost a lot. I love my 2015 trd offroad but entune is garbage. Toyota went cheap on that aspect but now I can't wait to hear it.

 

@eltacoutah Are the clips in the bottom edge of the grill that slide into the top of the bumper cover attached? If not the clips could be pushing your bumper cover down in the middle like that. Whom ever installed that replacement grill may have missed that.

I got my truck back from the dealership... had it in for warranty work at 99860K
They replaced the balljoints and the AC control unit. AC still acting a little wonky.
I can feel some air coming out of the top of the dash (by the windshield, where defrost blows) when I have the AC set to blow from the dash vents.
Is this normal?

 

Thanks! I didnt know if I would or not just like with the wheels but I really do. It's not powder coat or paint but tinted bedliner so pretty tough. we sprey it at work all the time. It also makes great rocker panel protection
